During this year’s Sulejówek City Celebration – Marshal’s Day, the first monument to Aleksandra Piłsudska in Poland was officially unveiled. Aleksandra Piłsudska was an independence activist, the First Lady of the Republic of Poland, and a resident of Sulejówek. The unveiling was the highlight of the city’s celebrations and brought together numerous residents and distinguished guests.
SUMI was honored to support this unique initiative as one of the monument’s benefactors. This project is particularly meaningful to us, as we have been closely connected with Sulejówek for many years and actively engaged in the life of the local community.
The ceremony was attended by Andrzej Krzanowski, President of SUMI, who took part in the symbolic ribbon-cutting during the official unveiling of the monument.
We are proud to have contributed to a project that commemorates Aleksandra Piłsudska and enriches the public space of our city. We believe that the monument will serve not only as a place of remembrance, but also as an important part of the local heritage for future generations.
More information about the ceremony can be found in the report published by the City of Sulejówek:
