On June 13, 2026, the 19th edition of the Marshal’s Run took place in Sulejówek – an event that has for years brought together sports competition, local history, and the integration of residents and enthusiasts of an active lifestyle.
This year’s edition attracted hundreds of participants competing over various distances, and the SUMI team was proudly among them.
Our team participated with an impressive lineup of 38 people. The event included 32 adult runners, 4 children competing in the Little Kids’ Run and Older Kids’ Run, as well as 2 teenagers who took on the 3.6 km course. This once again proves that a passion for sport at SUMI brings together entire families and all generations.
Special congratulations go to the participants who achieved outstanding results:
🏆 Monika Tomczyk won a trophy by securing a top position in the main 10 km race.
🏆 Andrzej Krzanowski, President of SUMI, took 2nd place in his age category in the 3.6 km race.
🏆 Darek Górski finished 2nd in the “Best Runner from Sulejówek” category in the OPEN classification.
🏆 Mateusz Kacprzak finished 3rd in the “Best Runner from Sulejówek” category in the OPEN classification.
However, the greatest success was simply the presence of such a large SUMI team on the course. Every completed race was proof of the commitment, determination, and sporting spirit that have accompanied our company for many years.
This year’s event was marked by a unique atmosphere. Despite uncertain weather forecasts, the rain did not arrive until after the competition had ended, allowing participants to fully enjoy the races and the family-friendly character of the event.
We would like to thank all participants – adults, teenagers, and our youngest runners – for their involvement, enthusiasm, and contribution to creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We are delighted that such a large SUMI team took part in the event and that we were able to share so many exciting sporting moments together.
